The biggest problem with this car is the title. I had a 91 MR2 with a salvage title on it that I bought in order to resell it and make some profit. The car had 94k miles, it was a 2.2 n/a with an automatic tranny. Normally with that mileage the car could be sold for 4500 or so, at that time at least (2 years ago). Selling the one with the salvage title on it for 2800 was a mission. I had to advertise in on craigslist for 3 week listed at 3k, then I put it on eBay and it went up to 2800. Even though I made 600 dollars profit, I gotta say, never get salvage again. If you fix this one, I guarantee you selling it for 9500 to 10k won't be that easy.

This is obviously the most stupidest person in the world.

1. Faking a GT
2. Putting ugly color stripes on
3. Wreaking their car.

It's not a bad investment... nor a good one.
Well, they wouldn't have wrecked the car if they didn't stick on the GT badges.. because right then and there, the car instantly gained the missing 90 horses--and they just couldn't handle it.

its never a good idea to buy a salvaged title. unless its for parts.....

wow. another poser. what loser would put gt badges on a v6? with all that money making it a clone he could have just got a gt in the first place.

With new-take off parts is would have cost about $1,000 to make it a clone .... far less than the difference in price from a V6 to a GT .... I always here that comment and it just isn't true ...

so its only $1000 to turn a 6 into a gt clone? i thought it would be more to do it right if you factor in parts, paint, labor, dual exhaust, correct rims, if neccesary, yada yada.....hmmm

Apparantly you are not aware of all the companies that sell Mustang GT takeoff parts ... off factory new cars with factory paint and ready to bolt on ... Here is one of many companies that sell them ...
