I didn't think that GT OEM hood scoops are anything more than stick-on appearance accessory...
Am I wrong?

If by "stick-on", you mean just tape, then yes, you are wrong. They are attached the same way as the spoiler: screws and tape

Gotcha.
I thought it was a super strength 3M double sided tape...

You are also wrong there is no tape just clips and nuts and bolts and some thin foam type material. I've had mine off a couple of times.

Screws and clips don't make it any more functional.

The original question was "is there an aftermarket scoop that covers or
uses the original OEM GT scoop holes".
Then it was "there are no screws, only tape".
Now its "you bet there are screws and only foam, not tape".
Back to the original question:
I dont know what coversOEM scoopholes.
But I know that theRoush ScoopDOES NOT.[:@]

Check on the CDC shaker hood scoops, you will find it on TACO BILLS how to guides, I believe that the CDC shaker hood does cover the factory hood scoop holes, and if you don't have a hole in your hood yet, TACO BILLS thread is awesome.
