Default Matching Caliper Paint - Updated with pics

I bought my ’07 three weeks ago and want to paint the calipers while everything is still really clean, but I haven’t been able to decide what color. I was looking on the G2 website and for a limited time they are offering their caliper paint in a few Mustang colors – Legend Lime, Vista Blue and Redfire (in the works).

Here’s a link to G2’s site…
http://g2usa.com/WordPress/2007/06/0...dition-colors/

…and a link to where you can currently get Lime and Blue. Just search for mustang calipers.

Hopefully, I’ll be painting minethis weekend and will post pics after.

Any "high heat" paint will work fine. Like engine paint or header paint or caliper paint.

I believe the press release read:

So for those of you who are lucky enough to own a 2005 - 2008 Mustang in Legend Lime (That’s right I’m talking about you Legend Lime Registry members at the *************.com Forums), Wind Veil Blue or Red Fire can now paint your calipers to match your Stang!

I didn't see anything about vista blue. Maybe I missed it.

go to

http://wheelskin.com/Merchant2/merch...p;store_code=W

or if that link doesnt work just go to wheelskin.com and do a search for "Mustang Caliper" they have vista blue in stock... Im really tempted to do this, but I kind of want to see a vista blue with this kit first..

Agreed. I painted mine with red engine enamel and they're holding up just fine. I don't do mountain racing, but I do a lot of city driving so the calipers do get heated up.

First I painted mine Ford Blue with Duplicolor, I wasn't thrilled with the look and the rear caliper started to flake a little. I then cleaned them off and used Black Engine Paint......Very pleased with the look

I looked at the wheelskin.com site this morning and they now have Tungsten Gray and Redfire for sale.

Hopefully my order will arrive by tomorrow so I can paint this weekend. I'll make sure to post pics.
