im thinking of just going with the rear cobra bumper since it is the same price as the GT but I would also be interested in the saleen.. has anyone done this before? Any ideas or comments are welcome. Thanks.

The Saleen piece requires the entire rear extension parts as the Saleen rearend is 6 inches longer than the standard S197 rearend(you also have to add the center exiting exhaust system, about $800). The GT/CS-GT500 rear bumper is a very good choice IMO, will go well with what you now have without needing to add other parts to integrate it. Go GT500!

Dude... the saleen rear would be wicked cool man! especially with a GT500 front end... *drool*

But it sounds like it would be alot of trouble. GT/CS bumper would look good without all the trouble, but if you've got the money I would do the saleen rear.

Does anyone know if I will need any special brackets for the gt-500 or will I just need to get the bumper cover and use the existing brackets?
