Seems if I don't tighten it perfectly, it will slowly leak. It's really starting to **** me off. I've tried other filters with no difference. I usually just back it off till it stops, maybe I should make it tighter? When I did the first oil change, ford had that **** tight!!

If you are still having a leak with different filters, there might be a burr or something on the contact face of the filter housing.
I've changed mine 3 times now, and only tighten 1/4 to 1/2 after contact, and use only my hands (no wrench). Haven't had any leaks yet. Good luck

Pull your filter back off and remove the first filter gasket and put your filter back on hand tight. Sometimes they come off when you use a wrench to take the filter off. and double rubber gasket will leak sightly.

i had one that came loose. u should grease it before putting it on, then tighten the hell out of it.
