So I just installed some slp loud mouths on my 07… love the sound but had a question for you guys… when I am slowing, down foot off the throttle I hear a sort of bubbling sound out of them…. Anyone else heard this? Just wondering if that is how it’s supposed to be or not….

It happens to me at certain RPMS during slowdown. Basically, though im no expert, it has to do with fuel delivery and not enough of it. I'm not sure if this is a sign of needing the fuel pump TSB done, but I've lived with it just fine.

I've been told that that has something to do with engine braking... I love it!

Yea that would make sense it does happen around the point of engine braking… and I don’t mind it either… just wanted to make sure everyone’s is like that

Yeah that normal...Instead of bubbling I like to think of it as a sort of ROAR...lol anyway, yeah enjoy!!!

I just picked up an 05 from a dealer and as soon as I turned on the car and heard that sound my first question was is that stock LOL.

When I ended up buyig it I got home and realized it was the SLP Loudmouth system. I LOVE the sound and thought it was back pressure buildup or engine breaking. But damn it sounds great.

If you like the rumbly stuff just add Long Tubes and high flow catted X pipe. Lot's of bubbly rumbly stuff!
