I didnt like the idea of using the same plug for a 4th time, but didnt have time to go to a dealer. I will next time.
Is loktite the end of the world? Im under the impression it wont really lock anything tighter, it will just hold it against vibration and leaks. Yes?

4th oil change and you are worried about the drain plug? It should last the life of the car....was it leaking before? Its not like the suspension bolts that are one time use and if you actually torque the bolt to spec you are fine either way. I would not use loctite but its your stang and I have taken bolts off with the loctite on and depending on which color you use it is a bitch on other bolts to get loose. JMO

I wouldn't use that on anything I wanted to get off again but in this case I think you'll be ok. The oil in the threads will probably negate any thread locking the solution will normally offer............ In other words, it was a waste of thread lock - luckily
