Great Day....Excuse the sarcasm
So today I was planning on installing my charge motion delete plates, throttle body, under drive pulleys, and short throw shifter for the Houston cruise. When I get to the local Ford dealership(buddy works there so we work on our cars after hours) to install the parts i decided only to install the TB and CMCV delete. It didnt take me long to unbolt everything change out the parts and put it all back together. Go to start the car and nothing. It starts and then it turned itself off. Run codes with the computer and it says TP sensor (throttle position sensor). My buddy looks up the the instructions on a TB and it said you need to install a new TP sensor when you take the old one off.[:@] So I eventually un bolted the charge motion plates and TB thinking the TB was causing the problem but it didnt work. So my car isnt running and im gonna miss the Houston cruise. Oh yeah and the reason I didnt try the pulleys is b/c I need a new torque to yield bolt for the crank cause you are only supposed to use that once.

you need a tune for the CMCV, they should work fine even with the TB problems....i have heard people putting TBs on, having problems, switching back and the car STILL not working though.....hope you get it figured out.

oh well...it's all a journey...lately I've been pi$$ed because my car is READY and the local track keeps having rainouts (summer in FL = rain every friggin day!)...I feel your pain...

Yah sucks when you gotta start backing up instead of going forward! I just spent a bunch of time and money because of one stupid plug![:@][:@] Now I need to change my plugs agian for the nitrous and re-tune. I feel your pain!
