I talked to a guy who will do my gears but he has never done a new Mustang. He wanted to know if the ABS system would be affected or if there was anything else that would surprise him.

Does anyone have any input?

find a differnt guy...mine might not have done that many of the new mustangs but he is a real drag guy and has been doing his own cars for years. I have plenty of confidence.

I'm with howarmat I think. I've heard these can be kinda tricky and I wouldn't want to be his first experience with the new stangs.

The only trick with the abs is to remove the abs sensors from the brake plate before removing axles or they will be damaged when you push the axle in to remove the C clip. I did my own gears with a friend & they turned out great, neither of us had done it before but are both good shadetree mechanics. If your guy has experience with setting up gears go for it.

Same rear end that ford has used for years. Get someone else to do it.
