Can’t tell from the pictures but did he weld up the holes created to pull the fender out before putting the filler on?

No repairing the holes wasn't needed. The base coat of bondo is much thicker and stronger and can just be used to fill the small holes.
I'm working on getting all the photos I took up in one place by the end of today.

And about taking the car to Mexico. There are many strange laws about importing cars into Mexico. I haven't looked too much into it but I found a thread or 2 from other forums going into it. There are restrictions based on what year the car is, how many you can import, ect..... It's confusing but really I believe the person who told me they were trying to get my car into Mexico was guessing. There is no real way to tell what my car went through in it's short time here on earth. And I'm not really sure I want to know.

Thanks for all the nice comments.
Quck question- I'll be taking more pictures this weekend when we continue working on it. Should I start a new thread for the new ones or continue here?

This is awesome, now we know what it'll look like in 40 years when these things are actually being restored.

I have some parts for the car if you need. Front bumper GT, GT grill upper and lower, bumper foam isolator, Headlights, Foglights, GT rear wing, GT mufflers. Keep up the post and lets see more pix. Its like an episode of Overhaulin. BTW, whatever happened to that show?
