I happen to be a 4th gen. vacuum "expert" andI wouldnt recommend steam vac'ing your seats, unless you have a majorstain, over time it can be damaging to the fibers. a light foam type cleaner would be a better option. AlsoI cant remember what type of vac those do it yourself detail shops use, but try to find a dual motor vacuum, maybe you happen to know someone with a CentralVacuum system, they have major suction and will pull any dirt out.
