Is $23,750 a good deal for an '06 vert?

How good a deal it may really depends on how it's equipped. When I was shopping for one a year ago MSRPs ranged from about 31 to 35.5K American depending on options. If it's a stipper (cloth interior, no IUP, etc.), that price is only ok. If it's a load premium (leather, 18 inches wheels, side airbags), that's a great number.

Got my '07 GT brand new for $23,800 USDafter I talked him down. It has cloth seats and it's an auto, but it was just right for me. I think if you look around you can get an '06 for a little less than that.

OK, it is a good deal. You are talking about a GT and a convertible with basically very low mileage...and you did not say if auto or manual. Of course, auto are more expensive...

hmmm that's about sticker (here in Austin TX) for a plain new ('07) manual vert, before TTL. So depending on what "loaded" means it might be good.
oops nvm, that sticker above is a sixer.
so yeh that's a good price.

He's got lots of money but he's selling his mustang now so that he can be first in-line for a beta version of the Camaro in a year or more that he will probably need to pay over sticker to get? And nobody even has any REAL details about the car?
Something is fishy.
KBB or Edmunds or NADA will give you the story on whether or not it's a good price. I doubt it is a great price but it may be in line. Shop around. No need to rely on internet opinions.

My cousin offered to sell me his loaded '06 GT convertible for $25K CDN ($23,750 US) and it only has 5,000 kms. It seems like a good deal - what do you guys think? Sorry no pics, but it is mint.
If the price is right, my only reservation would be that I don't know that I would have any more fun in the newer car versus my '87, so not sure if I want to throw another $13K at it.

Here in SoCal, the cheapest S197 GT 'vert I could find was $23,998 for a 5speed stick premium '05 with 16K miles. With just over 3K miles on the '06 you describe and being as you say "loaded", $23,750 sounds like a bargain IMO. 'Verts carry about a $3-5K premium over coupes, so it would be like paying $18-20K(U.S. dollars) for a 3K mile GT coupe. I see no downside here if the details you've provided are true. Good luck with your decision. I give it a thumbs up.
