2500 RPM "Rattle" Found.....
And unfortunately, it was the drivers side Flowmaster...[:@][:@] 16 months old before it started....Odd thing is, there is no rattle when you kick or hit it, but consistently kazoos' at 2500 RPM....
So, Monday they get boxed up, and sent back to Brenspeed. They are going to try with their rep for replacement....not holding my breath, since they are about 4 months out of warranty, but it is a known manufacturing defect, so we will see....
Good thing I still had the stock cans in the shed to put back on. I kinda forgot how good they sounded for stockers, but boy do they look funny to me with those small tips, compared to the flows......

yeah I've read enough about the rattlemasters to realize it's a matter of when and not if they will fail...oh well, I guess at that point I'll decide whether to stick with em or swap to something else...hey maybe I can pass for bone-stock with the stockers back on lol...
...then again, thanks to my 4.10s, 2500 rpms is like that ne'er-do-well cousin at the family reunion...my car seems to do everything possible to avoid it lol...

Mike,
Sorry to hear that... You might try the stainless Bassani. I've had them for almost 2 yeats no problem. Matter of fact, they sound a little better with age. Side note, my shifter rattle is fixed!!!

i just noticed this with my passenger side slp loudmouths.... I can't figure out what it is. plus it's got the "wiggle" factor... i've tightened every bolt and hook, but it still wiggles and rattles. plus it won't line up with the drivers side which is positioned very tight. its pissing me off.

Glad you found the problem, but sucks anyway. I have the single Flowmaster AT on my car, and am in the process of going dual (like the look of the dual exhaust) and have been considering staying with the flows as one of my options. Haven't had any problem yet with my current flow though.
