I bought the Steeda CAI kit and the SCT XCal2 tuner. I put the CAI on yesterday, and uploaded a new tune. WOW!! Noticeable difference! Sound's improved and... it sure seems to me like it runs a lot stronger! I took my step son for a ride, got more rubber in 2nd than the last time we went. He kept looking over and trying to see the speedo as I accelerated in 4th gear (I like that feature; my wife doesn't really know how fast I'm going!). I'm just havin' a ball with this car!

How do I find out what the parameters of the tune are? I bought it from American Muscle, and they just sent me the XCal2 with the program already in it, no description of the program or anything.

You probably just have the SCT can'd tune in there, get one from b ama, evolution or brenspeed for even better results.

I gave them all my specifics. Steeda said this CAI required a tune. I think premium fuel makes a big difference!

I want a CAI & Tunebut i dont have the money for a tune, can i get a CAI without having to tune the car? if so which one should i get for a 07 V6?

Probably the K&N for the price... I have the Granatelli on my 06 GT and like it a lot but more $ because of the polished tube.I bought the Granatelli used and saving to get a Steeda with a tune from Brenspeed.

Too bad the other CAI don't used the polished tube because it looks sweet.
