When you have to worry about things like a weak aluminum block when you want to go FI...
Not sure what kind of Mustang GT you have but my S197 does not have a weak aluminum block. However, it does have weak powdered rods and hypereuctic (?) pistons but the block is good to at least 650 RWHP.
My GT has the cheapest insurance of the five cars I own.......

Dont forget to follow up on the numbers. Just counted the unnumbered ones. This would be #20...

20# . When friends think you're retarded because when you answer the phone and tell them you're driving, after they ask you where you heading, you say "I don't know."

you go WOT under every overpass or in every tunnel to hear your exhaust scream!!!!

you look back at your ride 5 times from the time you park it till your in the store/mall/restuarant.

you ask the matre'd to sit you at the window so you can see your Mustang in the lot.....

From my reading, its the conrods that are the problem, not the block.

Ford Racing makes a full forged internals short block for $4500. Block is stronger too.....

Also, when you have to constantly look down at the speedo to make sure you're not speeding(very easy to go over the speed limit without trying). Big Smile every time I twist the ignition key
Trying doing the speed limit with 4.10 gears, even in 5th i find myself speeding. My insurance is cheaper on this car than my ford ranger.
