wish i had a stang

I've decided it's time for a new car, and a local dealership has a nice 07 Premium Stang. Color is Alloy Clearcoat, and it's optioned with IUP, dark charcoal leather seats, ABS and TC, Sirius, and seat airbags. MSRP is $22,730; I'm hoping to get it for about $18,000. Doies that sound about right? Or should I be shooting for more/less?

Go to this site, it will explain the whole process and the price you should be shooting for. I just did it for a 2007 v6 premium convertible and got the price that they recommend, so it is possible, the 500 rebate and 3.9 for 5 years financing is sweet right now

I paid 16,500 out the door (including sales tax)for 07 V6/5spd deluxe w/o options back in april. msrp was 19,995.

Hmm, so it sounds like $18,000 may not be too unreasonable, based on what I'm hearing here. That worksheet told me I should be paying about $18,400 plus tax, so that's pretty close to my goal. Those incentives Ford has right now are great for me; the car has leather, abs, and airbags, all of which are basically free right now!
