The Whipple Install manual has some info on this.

It says that by decreasing backpressure it can lower boost levels.
They recommend a pulley change to bring the boost levels back..
Do you have a boost gauge?

My exhaust is all stock except for FlowMaster Axlebacks. They sound nice...
I don't have a boost gauge yet so I have no idea whether it changed anything. Doubt it though.

05 mustang gt, shorties, C&L, UDP, CMCV. Swapped to a x-pipe and corsa exhaust. A whopping 7 HP gain and 9lb of torque...

Not worth it, just a sound mod IMHO
thats the bump from just mufflers once you had all those other mods installed right? god i hope all that stuff you did it worth more tha a total or 7 rwhp

when i did mine it was axle backs and a typhoon CAI (cheap one) between the two i figured i grabbed 10 or 15 @ the flywheel, it certainly sounds better than it did.

No one measures hp this days by flywheel hp . Unless you take your engine out to have it dyno'd separately haha.
