What My GT Is Worth?
Hey guys i'm really considering letting go of my 2006 MustangGT. I've always wanted an 03-04 SVT COBRA and think it is time to start really looking at some. I was seeing what you guys thought my car is worth here are the details:
2006 Mustang GT
Premium Package
9,500 miles
EXCELLENT condition inside and out and i mean flawless. no nothing.
CDC Classic chin spoiler
3D Carbon window louveers
3D Carbon side louvers
Flowmaster Axle-Backs
K&N CAI
SCT X CAL 2
Steeda Underdrive Pullies (not installed)
Custom Tune
Can't figure out how to do pictures? but please guys help me out it's in immaculate condition. I have a photobucket but everytime i upload a picture on this thread it makes a weird sound.[:@]

Use Kelly Blue Book... but from what I hear aftermarket mods bring the value of the car down...not sure if its true but if it is you might want to put the stock parts back on and sell your mods on Ebay. Your car should sell for at least 21k

The mods arent going to do anything extra for you if the buyer doesnt really know anything about it....they will want KBB value or less pretty much. They should not take the value down though. Now if you were selling it to a member on the board then you might get a little extra out of the car since they will appreciate the mods.

Yeah, you're gonna want to find a buyer that's nuts about your car. By the way your car looks, that shouldn't be hard. On the open market, I'd say $24-25K(maybe $26K if someone's really crazy about your ride). Be patient, and btw, right now isn't the best time to unload your car(with the new '07s being discounted). Offer it at $26K obo, see what happens, but do not trade it in(it'll only **** you off by what the dealership will offer[:@]). Although with what you attempting to do(sell S197, get Terminator), are you just looking for speed? I would never, ever under any circumstances trade my GT for an older Terminator(maybe a 2000 Cobra R, but that's all together a very rare beast with 300 made). Although what ever makes you happy, as long as you stay Blue Oval, you get my vote[sm=smiley32.gif].

i'd say $21k if you return the intake and
tune to stock, $18 - $19 if you don't

RE: What My GT Is Worth?
if i was in the market for used, i wouldn't want any mechanical mods.
cosmetic is one thing. but mechanical gives me bad images of you doing donuts in a parking lot, taking it to the track, etc...
just my .02 cents. i'd return it back to mechanically stock .
