Default never seen this before or haven't noticed

just got done changing the oil-06 gt- After all is done and still on the ramps I start it up. the oil pressure starts to rise and then starts to drop. I immediately shut down and lookto see what I forgot which turns out to be nothing so in neutral I roll off the ramps and start again and everything fine.Any ideas.By the way,I use sat. newspaper section and stuff under oil filter and then toss away, best way I've found to keep oil off everything.

Did you pre-soak your oil filter with fresh oil before installing it? It is always a good idea to do this. For cars that have a filter pointing straight up just fill it almost to the top. For cars with filter on a angle fill filter with oil, wait a couple of minutes then pour most of it out and install.

It was on the ramps, not level, that's a pretty steep angle. That caused the OP / Gage problem.

+1 on always pre-filling the filter.
