I picked up my Black 08 GT last saturday and have made an appointment for tint on Monday. I asked them about Moleskin and the woman at the front desk has never heard of it, so I figured I'd do it myself and ordered it. Upon further inspection of the rubber parts that seal to the window i realized the inside, the part contacting the window, already has a soft felt like material. I was wondering if this is something new on the 2008's or are all of them like this and you all put the Moleskin over it?

I just did my moleskin today and it was defintely hard rubber on the 07's. They may have changed it on the 08's after window scratching complaints.

Thanks bro, that's the exact answer I was looking for. Looks like its a change for the 2008. I guess I will leavewhat's on there for right now.

i thought they all had a material on them already,and the material they used was the problem?even the 05 had a velcro type material on it,but it is still too harsh for the windows?i have a 07,got it last week and it has a material on it also,looks like the fuzzy side of velcro.
