RE: GT500's
As of right now, yes it’s worth it. That is because I can afford it. I do make payments ($852.79 @ 36 months). Ford Motor Credit gave me 0% interest so why not use their money. I would have and could have paid cash (I ordered the car). WouldI have paid $20K more, no I had that chance. I bought it for many reasons, the biggest reasonwas prestige. The "market" I provide services to is high-end and at least 2 people there own at least 1 GT500.
The power is fun but where the hell you going to use it. The maximum speed limit on the Island where I live is 45 mph. BTW this is the first “CAR” I’ve ever owned, I’m 44yo. |
RE: GT500's
Most of the Shelby guys hang out on Stangsunleashed.com. You can find a bunch of them over there.
You will get a moderator warning if you ask people about ADM charges though. Look for a guy named Shelby Dude - he will get a car for you if you want it. I thought there was a guy jerking people's chains there and I emailed my phone number and about 2 hours later some dealer called me from PA saying he would have an 07 GT 500 (orange/white stripe) on the ground in two days and where could he fax me the papers to get started on the ownership documents. CRAP! A look at finances and the wife yelling at me and I told him I could not finish the deal. [>:] I'm sure it has a good home. Here is a similiar pic.
