I know JDM Engineering has put a whipple in a GT500 and kept the stock hood. You might want to give them a call to see how they did it.
I think that I heard that they dropped the motor and transdown lower andchanged the pinion angle on the rear-end to get it done. But your right, I will give them a call and ask if they are selling a kit that could help me with my project.
Kenne bell the GT500. It a great option to look to for power.
The Kenne-Bell is only a 2.8L blower, the FRPP/Whipple is a full 3.3L, much more size to make tremendous power(and it's only a $3500 upgrade, blower only,for the GT500).
Will the KR hood clear the Whipple?

Don't know yet if the KR hood will clear the Whipple, but I'm sure I will find out after I call them tomorrow?
