Glad you know the guy, if that was my car and how **** i am i would flip if someone took my car out for a ride only changing wheels and tires on it. No reason for a test drive if the wheels and tires are mounted/balanced correctly.

Not sure what lowering springs they use on the Shelby. I have the full FRPP Handling package on mine and after sitting it next to a Shelby, I can tell you it definately sits much lower than the stock Shelby............

I have the SGT and it has the same FRPP handling package (spring, struts, sway bars, etc.) It sits about 1.5" lower than the stock GT. If yours is way lower, then I'd be pretty worried about driving your car most any where.

What can I tell you?
My GT has sat next to a stock SGT in a line of Mustangs.Mine is lower then the SGT. The SGT sits pretty much the same height as a stock GT.
Perhaps the SGT has a different spec FRPP package as the GT, different rates etc, after all, it IS much heavier than a GT <cough> blubber <cough>
I've yet to see a SGT which didn't have3 fingers gap between the top of the tire and the fender arch.

Awesome body style and will be a collector's item if it isn't now. Performance should be plenty. And be careful people who say the car isn't worth it. It's worth whatever a person will pay for it. Personally if I could afford one with a supercharger then it would be parked in my drive way right now. Also remember some of our Mustang brothers own those and they don't, not one judge our machines. Thanks!

Maybe your's have settled in a bit more depending on how long you have had them in, or how often you load your car full of groceries
