Left the car with the dealer, they called me back, they smell it, have no clue where its comming from.
They did a full leak down test, no leaks.
They are now going to change both valve cover gaskets and give me a new PCV system in hopes this will fix it.
If one more thing goes wrong, this car is going for sale a month before the warranty is up.

Don't know if this applies to you but it might help. I had my car in for the fuel pump TSB about a month or so ago after the engine light came on. They replaced the fuel pump under warranty. From what I understand the fuel pump is accessed from under the rear seats, which may explain the following. Ok so after I getvthe car back, I smell fuel, so I figured they spilled something and it was just burning off. So after about a week of smelling fuel i'm thinking something else might be wrong. Shortly thereafter my engine light comes on, so I take it back to the dealer. This time the cause of the fuel smell and the engine light was because the gasket for the fuel pump needed to be replaced. I would have thought they would replace a gasket when they replced the fuel pump, but I guess not.
Don't know if that helps, but you never know. Even if you didn't get a new fuel pump maybe the gasket for it is failing.

someone had mentioned the fuel tank / pump area
i had the pump replaced quite a while ago under the TSB
its been fine since
but the smell is actually comming from the engine bay area, thru the vents
hopefully ford will figure it out

Lift up your back seat and stick your nose to the fuel pump cover. do you smell gas? You shouldn't.
