Chit! mine is September 04 and I thought it was a faster than most stock GT when it was Stock.

I checked my stock intake and it did not have the filter. Could it be a regional item? My car is April 05, pretty early for a convertible but not for the coupe. I read about the conservative tune also in Car&Driver/Road&Track but that was 2 years ago. Anyone have the archive article? I google it but no luck.

I think the cutoff was at right about the halfway point so you should be on the winning side of that equation...don't think it was regional, just b&a a certain production date...

Interesting. The stock shifter in my 07 works fine and is precise, but the throw is short compared to other five speed cars Iâ€™ve driven. Clutch pressure is light but thatâ€™s fine.
