Default and still yet another MPG question

Has anyone done MPG comparisons over the period of months/years
for a stock (except for Diablo Tuner) 'Stangrunning 87 octane versus 93 octane?

Car runs 87octane w/ the 87tune or93 octane with the 93tune. One full tank for each tune.

BTW, the performance is way kewl w/ the 93 tune & 93 octane gas just haven't done 'nuff miles to know.

Always had thought that a car rated for 87 would get a couple of MPG better with 93. True, not true?

I pay several illegals to push my car down the road. Yes, I'm guilty of hiring illegals! But my mileage is so good that I don't pay to support the Saudi's, and their agendas.

Higher octane than 87 on a stock GT will NOT give you better gas mileage or any other benefit. There are a number of threads on this in the forums. Do a search. You'll just be throwing your money away with higher octane w/o a tune.

Might want to go back to school. Most of our import oil comes from Canada, Mexico and other neighbors. We don't really NEED the rags.

Yes Rick, that isa basic assumption. BUT, it doesn't answer the question:
What kind of MPG difference can one expect with 93 octane fule USING a 93 octane TUNE?

Opps. Sorry. From what I've heard, people have seen about 1-2 mpg gain with the tune but I think that I'd personally not see it because I'd be steppin' into it more often... hehehe.

Yup, that's about what I'm expecting too [8D]
The fact is, it'sWAY too muchfun to drive this 'Stang with the 93 tune & 93 octane fuel...
way more fun that the factory set-up to be sure!

But, over the next few tanks of gas, I'll try to determine if there really is a MPG improvement.
