Well I wanted a foxbody so I saved up some cash and purchased one for $3,825... I've dumped in about $2000 into the car and decided I think I want to sell it for a supercharger... I enjoy having the two cars because I can drive the 5.0 when it rains and don't have to worry about getting the 2006 dirty...

Anyways to the point here...

2006 Mustang GT - 346rwhp N/A... 12.404 @ 112mph...

This was not enough for me which is why I installed a nitrous kit but decided against using it... I changed the plugs and everything and was all set to go but just had a gut feeling that the car wouldn't handle it so I went with it. I uninstalled the nitrous...

I can sell my 92 5.0 and get a Saleen blower and be pushing well over 450rwhp but again am testing the limits of my daily driver. I definately want the power at hand but can always run low boost with a larger pulley...

So... what should I do???

The 5.0 needs about $1500 and will be an 11 second car. I already installed new heads, cam, upper/lower intake... I have the nitrous ready for that car (forged pistons ftw)... but the s197 is not fast enough for my satisfaction...

Hmmm...tough decision. My initial reaction to your post though is to keep your 5.0....you already have done alot of work to it, and they aren't making anymore of them.

Don't get me wrong, the s197 with a supercharger is supersweet!!!! BUT, if it would be your only car....I would be cautious in doing it. Just my ideas....

Besides, it wouldn't take too long to get a nice payment on a supercharger if you started saving specifically for it right now, maybe?

The reason it is kind of one or the other is because if I keep the 5.0 I will continue modifying that because of the work it needs but if I sell the 5.0 I can be completely subjected to the 4.6...

why dont u keep em both, make the 5.0 into a full out drag car and have the other as a fast DD?

No brainer, keep it and save up for a saleen blower...or buy a KenneBell for the 5.0[8D]

I would keep the 5 OH ...Infact i am going to look at one today...I hope to purchase..

Keep the 5.0, make it a nasty track car..save for the blower..You know you will sorry if you let it go..

To me its a no brainer..Let us know what yuo do
