Default Hood Scoop Question/Opinions

Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting a hood scoop. I wanted the B9 Boss scoop from Cervini but I called them and it doesn't come with an insert. Anyone know of a boss-style scoop that has an insert included? If nothing else I'll go w/ the Roush. Also, the shaker scoop looks sweet in flat black. What are your thoughts on the Roush scoop in flat black on my ride? I have other black accents on the car as well (i.e. CDC trunk panel) so I don't think it would be out of place. Or I could get it striped to match the car. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

-Mark

I like the B9. In fact once I get the money the shaker will go away and the b9 hood and scoop will go on.

But until then, the shaker looks super nice on cars with stripes. Other than that I don't like the other scoops on the market.

Oh and you wouldn't believe the number of people that ask if the hood scoop is functional and I get to say "Yes it sure is..." and they are amazed. I also asked Cervini's if the B9 scoop would fit over the top of the Shaker. It would, so that's another option you could think about. Get the shaker and put the B9 over the top.

SS Inserts use to carry one with the black insert. I have that on my Stang. They show one onthe homepage, in the lower right corner.

No, it's for the stock GT Appearance scoop. The B9 has a 2.5" opening. No way that would fit.

Still no luck on the b9 insert? I'm looking for one as well. I love the scoop, but it doesnt look 'complete' without the insert

What about this boss 429 scoop? It's not open like the B9. You can always paint it if you don't like the carbon fiber finish.

That's an awsome scoop. I shoulda done more research before buying the cervini. Oh well, I still love how she looks. I just wish cervini made an insert.
