Default No more T-Lok rear on 2008 Auto GT's ...

I just dowloaded the 2008 KEY TO FEATURES document for Mustangs ... Here is a quote from the page describing the drivetrain:

Traction-Lok Rear Differential
• Mustang GT models with a manual transmission feature a
Traction-Lok 8.8-inch rear differential for improved traction
and performance on slippery or uneven surfaces
• Often referred to as “limited-slip,” Traction-Lok transfers
driving force to the rear wheel with the best traction
• Great for customers living in rainy or cool climates, or for
customers prone to spirited acceleration or competitive driving

I don't get traction with mine.. I can't imaging a GT with an open diff... I just can't see that happening..

Shyte... a gt with a peg-leg..

Differential
• 3.31:1 rear differential is standard
• 3.55:1 limited-slip rear differential is optional on
Mustang GT Premium with a manual transmission
– Especially suited to high-performance needs
– Provides excellent off-the-line acceleration

What is FORD trying to do make the Mustang have a bigger handicap against the 08/09 Camaro.
Man I will never live this down with all my Chevy Friends..

That explains why the 3.55 is $300 for 2008 models .... it is the GEARS + T-LOK now ... not just gears ....
