Just an example of the turbo vs S/C in the 4.0 Fazm was at 10 psi on his turbo at over 400rwhp. Us guys with 10 psi Centris are between 300rwhp-330rwhp depending if you go procharger or vortech
And you can look at his dyno sheets vs any of the centi guys dyno sheets. And generally a centi would make higher numbers than a twinscrew (although there is no twin for the v6)

In your post you show comparisons (turbo vs S/C) anyone could do that I could show you a twin turbo from MM&FF putting out 850 rwhp @19psi and then I could show you a Saleen twin screw @16psi putting out 1000 rwhp from JDM and centris/c around700rwhp @ 16psi on a S197.
I also don't think fazm was over 400 rwhp at 10psi per your quote I think it was more like 370ish or 380 ishrwhp at 10psi he hit over 400rwhp running 12psi or was it 14psiif I remember correctly.
So you could make all the comparisons you want but it could be misleading somtimes, itcomes down to just research and what the person likes to make his decision pros vs cons of each system.

Ok, here you have the graphs for both STS Turbo and Whipple Kits, as provided by the manufacturers:
As you can see at 3K RPM STS makes 160HP and 280 Pounds of torque Vs. 230 HP and 420 pounds of torque.
At 6K STS makes 440HP and 375 Pounds of Torque Vs. 465HP and 420 Pounds of torque.
Granted this is 7 psi for the turbo Vs. 10 for the Whipple, but this are the kits as offered, and they illustrate how the whipple makes way more power at lower RPM, right where you need it on the street, and also makes more power at high RPM.

RE: Turbo or S/C???
Here' a few turbo systems that are better than the STS imo. I know you were looking for dyno grafts on your post to compare but these produce better numbers. Also they arent remote turbo's like the STS.think all were below 7k

RE: Turbo or S/C???
Having worked with many different forms of FI, I'd have to say my favorite all-around system was ATI's Procharger. Although I have to admit, the turbo setup I had on my first car ('87 Buick GN) would have stomped my Procharged '99 mustang any day. It all comes down to personal preference. I just liked the ATI better.

Scotte28516 YES!! EXACTLY what he said. That was the most proffesional, unbiased, no BS answer I have seen in a while. Couldn't have said it better. It drives me nust when someone asks a technical question and people respond with emotional answers. Number and facts only! Thank you Scotte28516 for your great answer.
