Turbo or S/C???

RE: Turbo or S/C???
It's a biased opinion by many people but the key difference is a supercharger is belt driven as is the alternator or waterpumpis, whilea turbois poweredby exhaust flow.A turbo has lag because it creates back pressure which is why they don't always build boost until higher RPM's.
It's your personal preference really...

Edit: To add more into it, they both compress more air into your engine which allows you to add more fuel which equates for bigger injectors... I stated the difference of the two above...

Turbo.
Think about it this way, with a supercharger, your motor is putting out an extra 50hp that goes into driving the supercharger.
So lets say you're making 450whp, your motor is really working hard enough to put out 500hp, but that extra 50 is being wasted in the s/c.
A turbo uses the heat and waste from the exhaust to get that extra power, so it INCREASES efficiency, while a supercharger, always, decreases it and increases parasitic loss.
STS REMOTE MOUNT FTW

I say Turbo.
I have no experience with this car and any of the 3 but here is my reason.
I have done H/C and I have done SC but never Turbo. I notice this car is a revvy car, seems to like it above 3K rpms. With that said the boost should be there when needed.

Supercharger (TS Style) all the way for me.
I love the looks!
I love the whine.
I love the low end instant boost.
Good for car show and meets.
I love the looks.
From a guy on this forum( I think it was CK<- old screen name) that had all three on his S197 GT TS, Centri and turbo did a write uphe said from his experiencehe pefers the TS supercharger.
But of course its up to each person and all get the end result done for what they are made to do so its what you perfer and want me it will always be a supercharger.

If you have a comment on why you like one more honestly at least have a sufficient reason to say something bad about the other.
tube... do I even have to go into this... I'm pretty sure a supercharger can make enough power to blow up a 3v with stock internals. I say that statement in fact becausehe probably won'twant to even run of450rwhp on his daily driver. You are alsoforgetting to mention the presence of turbo lag and the fact it is easier to install a supercharger.
I don't care which one you choose but know your facts and don't listen to everything you hear.

I forgot nosthas brought it up easier install also have to agree with that I thought it would have been fairly easybut it was easier than I though it would (very easy/but yes 4.0)of been piece of cake no problem took me about10-12 hours. The car fired right up at the turn of the key like I never touched the motor.
