TCS is a joke in our mustangs. I lost control doing a left turn at an intersection. Good thing there weren't any curbs or polls cause I ended up on the grass.I have to be more careful next time.

what tires you have.....
Stock rubber for the 18" rims...
Another "thumbs-up" for Pirelli!
Stock 17s are pirellis. Stock 18s are BFGoodrich.

First hand knowledge on how much power + wet road = FUBAR..

I totaled my 05 GT on April 14th 2007. Wet roads, 24K miles on the tires, non hooked floor mat... WHAM...

Here's a teaser pic.

The full damage is here:

Luckily in 5 days I got myself a new new 07 GT.

Be careful out there.

here in SoCal we don't know what wet roads are!
If it ever does rain again there will be many, many crashes!
I just took my umbrella out of my car's trunk today. No sense having it in there until this drought ends... like maybe sometime next winter?

The TC works very nicely. It isn't a miracle worker or cure all for being stupid. You still have to drive with at least an ounce of sense.

Grandma, is that you??? When did you become a forum member??? I promise, I won't get soooooo CRAZY as to accelerate on wet pavement again. You're right I was being darn foolish...[sm=nerd.gif]

PS.Nanna, you might be more comfortable in the"All AmericanKnitting Forum".You won't have to hearabout all the shananigans and Tom Foolery that goes on with usMustang owners.

Its always been my contention that you should test your cars capabilities in inclement conditions by pushing it to the point of loss of control... in a safe location of course. This "practice" will prepare you for the unexpected when it happens. A little fishtailing away from traffic looks like reclessness but is valuable training.
