Hi,

Checking to see who has an 05,06,07 V8 Mustang Automatic with 4.30 Gears? How do you like them? What are your RPM's at 70 mph? Gas Mileage? Ha Ha!!

Any other info. would be great.

I'm thinking on going that way, I mainly use my car for 1/4 mile trips, but make take a trip once a year.

Keep in mind that the O.D. ratio in the auto is different than the manual. The O.D. in the auto is not as tall.
Assuming you have a 27" tall tire, with 4.30 gears you will be turning the following:

60.92 mph - 2300 rpm
71.51 mph - 2700
79.76 mph - 3000

If you don't do much highway driving it's certainly doable.

I would like a set of gears that won't completely kill me on the highway but give me the response and throw you back in the seat type of feeling. I was wondering since I have an automatic should I go with the 3.73 or the 4.10.

4.30s are good if you are tapping less then 115, you will loose about 3-4 mpg on the highway with an auto vs the 2-3 with the 5 speed since its a .75 5th gear and not a .62
