Thanks for the info on Fastlane. I will definately contact them about the stumble with my 03 Cobra. Hopefully they can fix it an put a good tune in for nitrous and non-nitrous driving. The best thing about Fastlane is that it is close. I live in Cypress and driving all of the way to Strictly (by Hobby airport) to go through the experience I had with them really sucked.

Good news. Talked to Nick Field (owner of Fastlane) and the "up for lease" sign was for the store front so they are still around. The shop is located in another building. He seemed really confident that the stumble is caused by the tune and really sounded like he knew what he was talking about. After I told him about my troubles with Strictly he assured me that Fastlane focuses on customer service (a rare thing in performance shops).

I am going to take my car over there early in March and will let you guys know what the experience is like.

I know it has been awhile since my last post but just wanted to let you guys know that my experience with Fastlane was great. They are not cheap but they are the best at what they do. They found the issue with my car in 2 days. Strictly Performance had it for 3 months and still had no clue. The cutout problem ended up being the altenator. Fastlane tried the plugs and coil packs first and that was not the problem. Since that did not resolve the issue they asked me if I wanted to keep the new parts. I did so that is all they charged me for. No labor - can you believe that. They also found that Strictly had my car tuned too lean. Fastlane will be the only place I take my car from now on.

Wow, only a 7 months old thread?? Way to revive old thread!

Oops, I'm sorry I didn't realize you only posted 30 times since 2006. My bad.

However, your right, Strictly Can't build a fast quality car.....Oh wait....they built mine.

Never mind.
