Saran wrap.

The best way to keep the front portion of your car from getting bug splatter (if you do not own a bra) is to wrap the front portion of your vehicle from tire to tire right over where the hood opens and down to where the bumper ends in saran wrap. It is clear and won’t look that bad, although you may get funny looks. By the time you arrive the show or meet or cruise or whatever, you can peel it off and remove any bugs, dust, dirt or grime that may have splattered up during your long haul. Just wipe the covered area with a clean soft rag after removing and there you have it! Perfect!

Just helpful advice to keep your baby looking sexy upon arrival to a show!

I doubt Saran Wrap would hurt the paint in any way, especially that its on for only a short time

I've always heard to use painter's tape as it comes off with no residue and comes off with relative ease

Beleive it or not, but I have used ICE Detail spray, let it dry and spray it again, two or three times and let it dry on,
when you get to the show, spray and wipe and the buggies come right off

Saran wrap is perfectly safe, a lot of local show cars use it if they do not have a trailor to transport their vehicle. Also - painters tape coating the car looks real cool...NOT. LOL, use the wrap.
