Default Question for the automatic drivers out there

When you drop it down to first to be able to shift it yourself, do you experience some crazy throttle lag or is it just me? It really seems that I'm better off leaving it in D because of the lag even when I've had it in first for a bit. [sm=feedback.gif]

I don't experience any lag at all. Seems to be actually quicker when I drop it in 1st.[sm=dontgetit.gif]

I realized, maybe there's a difference if you have a tune or not. If y'all wouldn't mind adding what tune (stock, brenspeed, custom, etc) you are running it would be helpful!

With the (conservative!) FRPP tune I've got zero throttle-lag in 1st and 2nd and only very slight lag in 3rd.
Snaps my head back in 1st & 2nd- so if I decide to go for the Whipple next year, I'd better buy a neck brace first......

No lag noticed

You shouldnt be downshifting into first unless your doing about 15 or less, I think if your going faster it wont allow it to downshift or something like that.

Nah..... Forget the neck brace....

Just add a TC and 4:30 and you won't feel the acceleration at all. Actually, you'll sit there when you floor it.

Second that...
Running the Diablo Predator 93 Octane tune (w/ 93 gas of course), w/ the firm shift tweak.
Awesome improvement over stock!
