Default New Pa Inspection

What do you think of the new Pa inspection laws? Any changes to your vehicle i.e. paint , mechanical , even changing radios , you must get vehicle re-registered and re-inspected. good old Pa. They snuck this in during the big 2:00 am pay raise fiasco and itstarted 1-1-7.

Although I'm on temporary assignment in Kentucky, my permanent residence is in PA. I never heard about that change. My Stang is registered in KY but the 'Yota is registered in PA (AND is out of inspection, matter-of-fact). Crud! Any links to additional info?

Lol, yeah, it's so much different in premise and much more intrusive than Bush's patriot act (yes, sarcasm). F Bush btw. The republicans are worse than the democrats/liberals in terms of taking away privacy and freedom, and increasing government spending. I'm all for fightingfor privacy, freedom, etc. but people are willingto sacrifice their freedoms for a negligible amount of security. I'm out-numbered. [rant over]

Back to the topic though, yeah that really sucks. That's what I kind of like about California; there are too many people toenact lame *** inspections like that lol.

Sorry, I don't regularly watch O Reilly.

What is a Kool Aid alert again? I'm not sure if I was being insulted or not.

Not insulted, just pointing out your willingness to adopt the liberal Democratic talking points. Most people do follow the crowd when it comes to political ideology. Stopping to think and rationally analyze the issues generally produce a more conservative stance. Liberalism is all about how it feels because it is easier than taking a stand for what may be uncomfortable and unpopular with your peers. Kool Aid = the Jim Jones follow me philosophy.

Got it, thanks for the definition! Although, I do not feel it is applicable to me whatsoever.

I actually do think for myself as most should, and accordingly, do not subscribe, wholly, to the objectives of any one political ideology. I'm independent, as I feel most should be. That way, you're as unbiased as possible when voting etc. And incompetant or otherwise undesirable politicians are less frequently elected as a result of political affiliation.
