Default How can I make SLPs louder and/or deeper?

Any way to make them deeper, or even deeper and louder? Im starting to get tired of the high-pitch tone. Yes, they sound awesome, but I've heard some deep rumbling stangs lately and its tempting.....

I thought a bigger H pipe, like the prochamber (stock headers and cats) would do it but some youtube videos show different.

the SLPs are not by nature low and rumble....they seem to have a built in raspiness to them, just like any other striaght through muffler delete. LTs will make a lower sound but that is mostly due from the headers and not the slps. I think resonators with LTs might be a good setup with a h pipe. This would pretty much be the pypes mid muffler if you do this though so you might want to wait and see how that sounds.

Bite the bullitt and sell/ditch your SLP's...Throw onsome FRPP Stingers...As much as I love my Flow's, theStinger's sound awesome...If you find an alternative to make your SLP's sound deeper, let me know and I'll do it too...I love that deepthroaty sound.

SLP's + Pypes H = Obnoxiously Loud/Deep Nascar Type Sound

Here's my car with that setup, all else is stock! Crank up your sound for the full effect!!!

I'm with MrSandman. Get some macs I've got the boomtubes and they're loud like the slp's but only deeper andwithout the raspiness. I love mine but I'll probably be doing the complete system pretty soon so they might have to go.

raise your compression ratio that will make them loader and gain hp to boot

+1 drew. I had ford shorties, pypes h and slp's (crazy loud). Now I have kooks l/ts with high flow cats and slp's, still very loud, but driveable
