Mirror Covers Install (With Pictures)

Well at first I wasn't going to do this, because who wants see an install of mirror covers!!??
But then I did something stupid, as usual. So if you plan on getting these you might wanna read this.

Package Contents...

Directions come clearly stated in the box, so there is no sense in explaining it, its really simple, about the easiest install ever as long as you dont do this:

DO NOT lay your stuff down on that plastic piece in between your hood and windsheild. I laid all 6 3M tape strips down there and as soon as I did the top two slid off in a hole, never to be found, lol. I opened the hood and looked in every crack, but not to find anything. Started it up and backed down the driveway and slammed on the brakes hoping they would fly out... revved it up, slammed on the brakes again... nothing. So now I have 2 3M tape strips somewhere in the front of my car.

So then I just used 2 strips on each mirror.... im sure it will hold okay though. Oh yeah, and they will need some trimming that the directions don't mention, so dont go slapping them on there and then come to realizethe one on the end is hanging way off the insert area.

Then just peel and stick!

In the picture it appears to be scratched but its not, im pretty sure it was just the bright flash from the camera.

They have a perfect fit, it looks just like it came from the factory. It adds a nice touch, they dont look like economy car mirrors anymore!

I feel stupid for doing an installthread on plastic things that tapeto themirrors... lol. [8D]

neat, any reason you went with these ones instead of the ones that cover the majority of the plastic? just curious

I like those covers that cover the top half. If you look closely, there is a little edge there that the cover fits perfectly into. I saw them on a car today...looked nice IMO.

Good choice!

looks great, thanks for the pics, Ive always wondered how they went on. they look the best out of any mirror covers, unless of course you paint them.

Where did you get them? They look sharp, and I want!!!

(EDIT) Forgive, please. I re-read your post, and saw that you included their business card in your pic, so thanks!
