The TCS does not effect the performance of your car in any way. Unless of course you are spinning your tires in your little performance tirade, Then it will kick in and shut down the fuel pump, this my friend will effect performance!

Not exactly true. In some cars like mine. If you are about 65-80 and you drop down to 3 or 4th and gun it, My engine will slip a little then stall ONLY WITH THE TRACTION control on. Besides that I agree with everything. I do not have this problem when my traction is off. And I am not spinning the tires at all because I slowly drop it down untill it grips and rpms grab and then hit it and sometimes it does. Had the rear end replaced already actually the day after I bought it and engine got looked at. Everythings good, just have to turn it off if you want to get a little agressive

It is true. Your computer is getting some reading, be it a change in G force or some other issue.
