thanks!
I remember comming on this board in 06 with the same problem and no one had a solution... 2 trips to the dealer didnt help either
I fixed mine with two rubber spacers inserted between the plate and the trans.
its great to finally get this figured out.

I have the EXACT same problem. I think the increased resonance from the aftermarket mufflers is causing that vibration. i think I'm going to take mine to the dealer. This is an older post, so let me know if you have an luck.

My dealer replaced the separator plate under extended warranty over 6 weeks ago, and the noise hasn't been back since! Guess that even though my symptoms were happening under the exact opposite conditions (quiet when cold, noisy once at temperature), it was still the plate

Apologies for bumping this old thread again, but does anybody have a current link to the TSB for the plate please? All the links I've tried are dead. Our '07 GT as just started rattling at around 1600rpm (which seems a little lower than most people's experience) but I suspect this may be the issue.
Also, should this be covered under the transmission (5 year, 60000 mile) portion of the warranty? I'd like to go to the dealership armed with as much information as I can...
Thanks,
Paul
