Hello everyone, got some problems with an offroad X pipe i installed on sat, i get a vibration on the center console by the pass side, also the car seems to resonate loud you can feel it on the floor boards in the past ive had x pipes beforebut is been on the 5.0 diffrent carr all together, but never got the floor board vibrations.Im running stock manifolds with a MAK offroad pipe stock mufflers any one had this problem before.I checked the hangers and the pipe all together and nothing is rubbing the body any leads will be greatly appreciated.thanks.

Its gotta be banging up right underneath your feet. Adjust it.

my floor vibrates with my o/r h pipe......i guess its more of a rumble....just the nature of an o/r pipe i would think

I agree with the rest. just a characteristic(sp) of running any type of off-pipe on these cars.

Check the two hangerhooks that attach to the transmission x-member rubber mounts. My rightside hookwas hittingthe steel x-memberand I had to bend it up to cause the pipe to hang lower. You will need a torch to do it if is like mine was. The stainless mount hook is very strong and will not bend unless it is heated.

Mine was similar, the resonance was so great as to cause headaches,.........it was the hanger just barely touching the mount(on the x-pipe) several taps with a sledge hammer and perfect, still loud just no vibration or resonance.

+1 on checking all the fittings and hangers but the vibration is definitely there, alot more so than the fox body 5.0's. I had 2 chamber flowmasters and o/r x pipes and it was a mean rumbles. With S197 its just plain raspy as hell, alitlle too loud for my liking. But it is what it is. I wonder if the o/r h pipe is less raspy. Any thoughts?

Yeap stupid me put the car on a lift today and my buddy found the RT hanger on the X pipe bearly touching the trans X member causing the vibration and the resonance he bent the hanger MUCH NICER TONE no vibration NOW I LIKE KICK A$$.
