1. Get in mustang
2. Turn car on
3. drive to autozone
4. look for package with 4 sizes of line removal tool
5. take to counter
6. pay
7. steps 1-2-3 in reverse order
8. Open and enjoy!

step 5-6 are optional, step 7 would change to "spend night in jail" ....you call

I just used my finger the push the green tab. At most you may need a screwdriverto push it in

Yeah, I was going to say, most 05+ fords have quick release tabs now on their lines. Not all of them though...

The hard line into the fuel rail needs a tool to release the round spring lock.

Cut about an inch off of a 5/8" piece of pipe.
Cut down both sides of the pipe with dremel so you end up with two half-circle pieces.
That's basically what the tools are. You just push the two halves into the spring and it unlocks.

I used a bushing sleeve that I didn't need when I changed the shocks on my truck.
It already had a slit on one side so I just had to cut the other side with dremel.

Or, you could go pick up a 5/8" tool for this...

When I replaced my fuel filter, I used my thumb, no problem. Don't know about the other conections but at the fuel filter, no tool needed.

I used a wide, heavy duty plastic wire tie. I cut a short length of it and wrapped it around the fuel line, pushed, and worked like a charm.
