For those of you with after market hoods
How does it hold up under 80mph plus.Does it bowin the middle? Do the corners flap like bird wings at high speed.
I am looking at buying a new hood. Iwould rather have a cowl type but at this point I am just trying to find a manufacture that makes a hood that dosen't flop aroundlike a fish on the beach. Pics. and manufacture name would be nice. Thanks..

A non metal hood without pins is a bad idea. When you decide to go racing consider a non metal. Until then spend the extra cash (if you can afford it) for a quality metal one.

cervinis make a hood that looks like the old 69-70 hood it has the scoop and the raised stinger down the centre it drops a little lower than the stock hood to make the front end look a lot more aggresive i would get this with a set of hood pins with the lanyard but make sure the lanyard has the clear rubbery plastic coating over the metal or else it will scratch the hell out of the hood.
