Limited Slip Differential for 06 Mustang, GT, Manual
From reading other posts, it seems as if my car comes with L.S.D. However, after driving the car myself and having a couple of regular autocrossers drive it, both recommend that I get a non-factory LSD for better traction.
For the reason of taking it onto the track, I am considering getting limited slip differnetial for my car. From web searches, it looks like I need an 8.8”, 31 spline LSD. Thethree main brands that come up most often in my searches are Traction-Lok, Auburn (?)and Eaton Posi. The Eaton Posi one costs WAY more than Traction-lok. Can anybody give me some feedback on whether the performance of the Eaton Posi justifies its price? Also, are there other brands that are worth recommending?
