RE: 100+ Club
I just bought a 2003 Mustang a couple weeks ago (nothing fancy, just a V6 and automatic transmission) the second day I had it I took it up to New Hampshire. On the way home, I hit 115 three times on the highway lol. Damn governor

The arms went up at a rail road crossing at 3 am. A co-worker was next to me in his 07 we just punched it at the same time. I lifted at 105 we were getting close to the office and I didn't want to over shoot the driveway.

First time I hit 100+ mph in a car was when I was driving from Phoenix to Orange County, on the 10 freeway. I was driving a 2002 Saturn, and a kid in a Honda Civic pulled up on my tail while I was doing about 90 mph. I told my gf at the time, "Turn off the A/C to give me just a little bit more power." I then downshifted into 4th, rolled onto the throttle, and pulled away from him. He kept trying to overtake me, and I kept up until I was pegging my speedo at 125 mph. At that point, I looked around, saw that I was catching up to an 18 wheeler fairly fast and theCivic was getting left behind. Istarted backing offthe throttle, thinking that there may be a cop lurking somewhere up ahead...The Civic ended up getting trapped and boxed in by a couple of 18 wheelers almost immediately after he passed me, so I kinda figured that was a good thing.
As for the first time I hit 100+ in my GT? That happened this past Sun. on the Hardcore Mustangs Cruise. I was one of the first few cars to get onto the 8 freeway, towards the end of the cruise, and the supercharged guys were behind me, breathing down my neck. I stomped on it, trying to pull away JUST a little, and my dad goes, "Hey, just because those guys are wanting to do 100 mph doesn't mean you have to."
'That's when I looked down and realized I was at 105.
