I would give shifter replacement a 6 out of ten. Of course I did mine on the garage floor. I'm fat and cranky with chunky fat hands and short little F'n bratwurst fingers. I did it myself and the trips below and above during the install sucked. If I had some competent help it would have been easier!

Id give the actual process a 2. Very easy. But angling the old shifter out and angling the new shifter in was a b*tch, and due to the frustration raises it to a 4.

But its very easy.

2, only because I had to go back and forth from under the car to in the car like four times to get the shifter in place. With a friend, it would have been a 1.
