O/R x-pipe, is this a good deal?
I'm not up on exhaust prices or what they are going for used, so I'll ask you guys. I've found a local guy getting rid of a Pypes O/R x-pipe with the MIL eliminators for about $125. It has 10k miles on it, is stainless, so there's no rust, and is set up to be used with the stock manifolds. Is this about the going rate for a used pipe? I've been debating on getting an O/R due to emission testing, I really don't feel like swapping it out every 2 years. Those with them, is it worth it?

Yea, I'm planning a move to Missouri and have been talking to guys around STL. Apparently, they just do an OBDII check for emmissions. So, you are right, the MIL's will allow me to pass the emmission check, however they also have a safety check. No cats will let you fail this check. Looks like my first thing to do once I move is find a buddy doing inspections and will pass me for a case of beer if I decide to buy this.

Is an O/R x-pipe a good idea with the straight through design of the Violators? I've been doing some searching and some say it O/R x's make the S197's sound like a tin can, or a ricer on steroids. This isn't the sound I"m going for, I want loud, but muscular (if that makes sense)

Pricing is about half what you would pay for new.

exactly, I've got a buddy who used to do them for that, but "used to" is the key word there. Anyway, what are some more opinions on the pricing?
