Thanks guys for the input. Buddy said it sounded like a warped rotor would sound when the wheel is going around at slow speeds. However, like you said I dont notice anything in the brakes when I push on the pedal. Im hoping 157db and I have the same issue. Its driving me crazy hearing that thumping [:@]

Not sure how it could be a warped rotor if it produces a single thump without even touching the brakes.
Sounds likedriveshaft/rearend gear backlash. They all do it to some extent.
Test it by driving along in top gear at about 40-50mph, let off the gas, count to 3 while the driveline slackens offand then reapply the gas firmly. I bet you hear the same noise from the rear end.
