this thread and the one about what you traded in for your mustang tell you alot about the forum...

there aren't too many TRUE mustang people. not knocking anyone at all, but there seems to be a lot of people that bought one because of the redesign, this is my 3rd (i'm 22) - 92 White GT modded to hell, 02 White GT modded, and the the 07 Black GT.....

This is my toy. this is without a doubt my favorite car. The lex is for the d.d.

For CFLstangGT..
This is the seventh mustang I've owned. Of all the cars I've ever had I would most like to get my 67 GTA back. I bought the 07 because it reminded me of my 67... I've probably owned 25 Harleys in the last 15 years. Some very nice vintage pieces. The 64 listed below is the 33rd GTO I've owned... When you get a little older you'll understand. Don't get stuck in a rut, go with what makes you happy... with that said...

Ibought a 1964 Numbers matching 389, 4 speed, tripower GTO two weeks ago and the 07 Mustang GT convertiblehasn't been out of the garage since. Thinking about selling it.

It'sa 180A Premium Convertible GT. White with saddle top &interior upgrade package, satin aluminum dash panel, auto trans with 18" Polished Aluminum wheels & 235/50/ZR18 tires.

Window sticker is $34,355 ( I paidZ plan, a little less). Add Corsa Exhaust & sequential turn signals and that puts it at close to $35,000. Car has about 3800 miles on it, stored last winter in heated garage, never in the rain & perfect, like new, inside & out.

Kelly Blue Book shows private sale at $32,000 and trade in at $29,000 so I'm thinking a realisitic value should be around $30,500 to $31,000. Am I on the right page with this or are my figures off..

Oh, & heres the GOAT:

Have to agree with you. I wouldn't dare sell mine either. I'm surprised to hear so many people that are willing to sell thiers. Maybe they just need to drive something else to see what they have.

Wow... I had no idea there were so many people unhappy with their cars.[&o] Dont even know what to say... I personally love this car, but then again I guess Im not as old as some of the other members here, so I havent enjoyed as many. Hope there isnt a bunch of people planning on leaving or anything....

But, if it does come down to it... Id take some mods Your resale value will be much higher stock. [8D]

I'm 54 and I still love mine, It's an extra car, so I don't drive it much, Which makes it more fun when I do.

Wow it sounds like you guys have just had too much of everything life has been to good for to long. Do something for others who have less than you. Go to Iraq for a year and I bet that lust comes back real quick.

I might be wrong but asking $31 for a used '07 GT might be high as the '08's are now out. Good luck though and congrats on the Goat.

I didnt mean it in a bad way when I said im kinda tired of mine. I still think its an awesome car its just I get bored. I wish I had the $$$ to put a supercharger on, that would change everything.

1+ great advice! Exactly what I do right now though the car started off as an obsession!

If you look to find happiness and satisfaction in a car then you'll never be satisfied. Look elsewhere for happiness. Drive a car for short term enjoyment.
